Do you know that the pilot of the missing Malaysian airline flight MH370 built a flight simulatorin his home and used it for some personal activities? Well, you might have heard that. But what is shocking is the fact that the man DELETED details of the activities in his house before embarking on the trip. Read updates below...
Eagle eye investigators who are looking at theflight simulatortaken from the home of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 Captain, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, have discovered that data(s) had been deleted from it, Malaysia's acting transportation minister said on Wednesday.
What the revelation means is getting clear. Deleted files from the pilot's simulator could mean it had been used to practice diverting the plane and flying it to an unfamiliar airport, experts said.
One expert said desktop pilots don't usually delete such files because they are small and often kept to gauge progress, said Jay Leboff, owner of HotSeat, a simulator manufacturer.
"It would be suspicious to me, because there's no need to do it," he added.
According to CNN, it could be another dead end in an interesting investigation so far, or it may provide further evidence for the theory that one or more of the flight crew may have been involved in the activities that led to the plane's disappearance about 12 days ago.
Specialists are examining the simulator in hopes of recovering the deleted data. Among them are experts at the FBI's forensics lab in Quantico, Virginia, who are examining a copy of the simulator'shard drive, as well as a copy of thehard drivefrom the computer of co-pilot Fariq Ab Hamid.
Why did the pilot buildflight simulatorin his home.. Why did he delete the details before living home that day?
