We 'll Take Our Pound of Flesh Against Argentina - Musa

Super Eagles and CSKA Moscow forward, Ahmed Musa has said it will be a huge boost for Nigeria and the players should the national team go all the way to win the World Cup in Brazil.
Nigeria Sports Minister, Tamuno Danagogo had said President Goodluck Jonathan was looking up to the team to go to Brazil and win the World Cup.
In a chat with African Football.com Musa took up the challenge and said, "Yes, it is possible. Every team at the World Cup will aim for the ultimate title. We have quality players and good technical bench to win the World Cup.
"We the players want to make big impact in Brazil, so winning the World Cup is not out of place."
He said the Eagles will give equal respect to their group opponents because they all deserved to be in Brazil. "They will all be tough, so we have to work very hard. We have to take all the teams seriously right from the first game against Iran. He reckoned that Argentina had been lucky in the three previous encounters they have had against the Eagles and this time it is going to be Nigeria's turn to smile.
"They have been lucky the previous times, this time around we will beat them and take our pound of flesh. They won't be lucky this time around. We are prepared to beat them in Brazil."
Musa who was part of the pre-2010 World Cup camp but failed to make the final squad to South Africa said he was happy he made the preliminary squad in the first place."I was happy to get the invitation then even though I was not expecting it because I was with Kano Pillars and was only looking forward to getting a call-up by the Flying Eagles.
"But I could not make the training camp for the 2010 World Cup because I was injured."
Musa said this season has been good as he has won the league title with his Russian club and he is fit and ready for the World Cup.
The CSKA Moscow star also told AfricanFootball.com he is delighted to win a second winners' medal in the Russian league with his army club.
"It has been very good, I worked very hard with my team to emerge as champion on the final day. I am so happy."
