IPhone 6 Might Be Out This August

Apple has unveiled plans to release its latest iPhone in August, a month earlier than originally planned.

The Economic Daily News quoted sources who revealed that Apple has been buying lenses used in mobile phones from various Taiwanese suppliers such as wafer maker Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co and Largan Precision.

Taiwanese electronics contract makers where told by Apple to begin their assembly lines for new handsets.

After recent sales where affected by the competitors, South Korean giant Samsung and Taiwan's HTC, Apple are aiming to push 80 million units and the high-end variant of the iPhone 6 with a 5.5 or 5.6-inch screen will still be unveiled in September.

iPhone 5 was released in September, This new iPhone 6 will contain chip from the world's biggest contract chip maker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC).
