27 Dead In Another Boko Haram Attack On Gumboru Ngala Town, Borno

A group of gunmen, suspected to be Boko Haram sect members, stormed, seeded death and set the houses ablaze in Gumboru Ngala town, Borno State, on May 22, 2014, Thursday.


According to the information by SaharaReporters, 27 people lost their lives during the raid, and only three houses remained standing.

The villagers have reportedly cried out for protection, but security forces, police, army and other military personnel were absent in the village during the assault.

It would be recalled that market, customs office, police station and almost every shop in Gamboru Ngala town suffered from insurgents' attack on May 5, 2014.

The exact death toll of the devastating attack has reportedly reached 310 people. Moreover, shocking details on how the soldiers failed to repel the attack have recently emerged.
