Manchester United appoint Ryan Giggs as interim boss as David Moyes is shown the Exit door

David Moyes was sacked by the club after just 11 months at the helm of Old Trafford. Reports indicated earlier that Giggs would take charge as caretaker manager until the end of the season. And the club published a statement on their website confirming the news which read: “Following the departure of David Moyes as manager, Manchester United has announced that Ryan Giggs, the club’s most decorated player, will assume responsibility for the first team until a permanent appointment can be made.
