Five Persons, Including Two Policemen, Feared Dead In Attack On Southern Kaduna Village

Unknown gunmen have attacked the southern Kaduna village of Fadan Karsi, in Sanga local government area of Kaduna State, killing five people, including two policemen. The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Aminu Lawal, who initially denied knowledge of the incident, said security agencies were investigating the incident. Meanwhile, the state governor, Alhaji Ramalan Yero, has described the latest attack as a “provocative attempt by hoodlums to throw the state into confusion”. Yero urged people of the state to continue to co-habit peacefully and to be more vigilant in observing happenings in their areas.
