Actress Laide Bakare’s Boutique And Husband’s Properties Seized Over N2.5 Billion Scam

EFCC has finally confiscated the properties of Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo, Laide Bakare’s husband for obtaining money under false pretenses and stealing. He allegedly conspired with some past executives of MTN’s Employees Multipurpose Cooperative Society(MEMCOS), namely Victor Akintunde and Gani Mustapha to defraud members of the Society to the tune of a whooping sum of N2.5bn,through his company, PrimaVera Engineering and Construction Company. Alhaji Orilowo allegedly ran and failed to show up despite being declared wanted , EFCC recently obtained a forfeiture order on all his known properties. His properties including his two petrol filling stations in Ajah, his house at Ibeju Lekki, No. 1 OtunbaAdeniyi Street, Papa-Epe, Lagos, his 2014 Bentley and the boutique he opened for his actress wife, Laide Bakare have been confiscated.
