Telecommunication and national Development

Telecommunication simply means communication over a distance by circuits using cable, fire optics, satellites, radio etc. National development can been seen as anything beneficial to the people e.g. roads, hospitals, schools, transport and skill development. Telecommunication and National development goes together i.e. telecommunication and development can not function independently.
Telecommunication has helped extensively in development firms. Development agents can communicate to people to carry out development programme effectively.
Secondly, telecommunication industries has made communication easier unlike the days of letter writing where it takes days before information can get to a person in another state or country. This can be done quickly through face book, twitter, telephone call.
Thirdly, with the aid of communication, I can meet new friends from anywhere in the globe. I can learn their language, culture and even their history without opening a text book.
Globalization is the process of international integration arising from the interchange of worldviews, products, ideas, and other aspects of cultures. Telecommunication has brought people together under one umbrella called the Global Village which makes activities( socially and economically) possible without physical interaction. All things can be done virtually
